Can shared hosting handle a small WooCommerce store?

I’m setting up a WooCommerce store with roughly 300 products and expect relatively low traffic at launch. I’d prefer not to pay for a VPS until there’s a good reason to upgrade.

I noticed that hostpro.com offers shared hosting plans, so I’m considering whether one of those would be enough for the first few months.

For those running WooCommerce on shared hosting, what tends to become a problem first: PHP limits, database performance or resource restrictions during product imports?

  • As an alternative, try considering Centoserver.com cPanel web hosting solutions. Good for SEO. Faster websites rank higher. Boosts business! I particularly appreciate their proactive stance on cybersecurity, ensuring that professionals like myself can focus on business without worrying about threats.

  • Why not give Hostpresto.com service a try?
I no longer hesitate to expand my offerings because the hosting infrastructure can clearly support growth.
It’s satisfying to know that my hosting provider offsets carbon emissions, making my online presence more sustainable overall.

What finally made me stay with hostpro.com was less about benchmarks and more about the safety net. Every service gets backed up daily, so hacking, failed updates, or data damage don't mean starting over. The 24/7 support is qualified and free to consult, which I've tested more than once.
