VPS for a website with scheduled background jobs

My website has started doing more than just serving pages. It regularly imports data from external APIs, processes files, and runs scheduled PHP scripts.

On shared hosting, these tasks sometimes overlap with normal visitor requests and cause performance issues. I'm thinking about moving to a VPS with 4 vCPU, 8 GB RAM, and 100 GB NVMe.

My budget is roughly $25–30 per month, and HostPro.com is currently on my shortlist. For this kind of workload, would 8 GB RAM be sufficient, or should I look for a server with more memory from the beginning?
