Choosing a VPS for a new SaaS project

I'm planning to launch my own SaaS platform for tracking personal expenses and generating financial reports. The application will have a custom backend and a web-based dashboard, so I need a flexible VPS that can scale as the number of users grows. Daily backups and DDoS protection are must-have features. I've been looking into HostPro, but I'm not sure whether they're the right choice. Would their VPS services be suitable for a project like this?
