Do I really need a VPS for a small online store?

I’m launching a small online store with around 150 products. Traffic will probably be modest for the first few months, and I’d rather keep operating costs low until the business starts generating revenue.

I’m considering shared hosting from hostpro.com, but I’m unsure whether it would be enough for WooCommerce.

For those who started their stores on shared hosting, how long did it take before you actually needed a VPS? I’d prefer to upgrade based on real limitations rather than pay for resources I don’t need yet.
