HostPro vs Vultr for a Python application

I need a VPS for a Python application with PostgreSQL and a few background workers. I’m currently comparing Vultr and hostpro.com.

The budget is around $20/month, and I need root access because I’ll be managing the entire stack myself.

Hostpro.com looks appealing because their VPS plans use KVM virtualization and NVMe storage. Vultr obviously has a lot of experience with cloud infrastructure, so I’m wondering how the two compare in terms of performance and reliability for a relatively small production application.

Any experience with both?
